Sadly the little classroom trick doesn't seem to work on Ed, his posture and expression remain exactly the same when Crane adopts a more casual position.

He's a good example of that, for years he was just another forensic nerd at the GCPD. A person that no one really noticed unless they were annoyed at him, a creepy little loser that was often forgotten and thought of as harmless. How wrong they were.
"Very well, I was born into low income family. My mother was addicted to drugs and my father beat me daily."
A lie but he's curious to see if Crane will catch it.
